"I know little about system evaluation which meant I was doubly pleased to read "System Evaluation Theory". It spelled out the concepts in an extremely straight-forward and readable manner, and provided clear steps for undertaking system evaluation. So it provided an excellent grounding for a newbie. The small number of other texts I've seen that relate to system evaluation have been pretty hard going. I'm not an academic - I needed something practical and engaging and it was, in spades.
